COVID-19. with 220,000 and growing dead Americans and rising case numbers throughout the country, is no longer important to donal trump and the trump administration. Dr Fauci says the COVID-19 task force meets once a week or less. The trump white house won't say the last time trump even attanded a meeting. trump doesn't care. He didn't care when the pandemic hit America. Then admitted he lied about its impact. Then he was incompetent in how he responded. He then says he caught the disease, then spread the disease through a rushed supreme court justice event and multiple campaign rallies. And now... he is downplaying the pandemic and ignoring its impact on American lives. trump never should have been in office. His response and handling proved that. And he should not even be in consideration for staying in office.

Yes, flu shots start being available sometime in September. Went and got one a couple of weeks ago. I don't know how many are available in the US, but I've never heard of shortages here.
We have had shortages before. I remember two years ago hearing that elderly should get the shots first so they get protected as initially there wasn't enough vaccine.

The overwhelming OCT surprise will be the same old boring expected surprise we have through this year - that Covid hasn't gone anywhere and is starting to spike again and will spike through election day. It was one that Trump could have handled but he was not only simply incapable, he made it much worse. Talking about shooting oneself in the foot (and constantly blame others).
