Springer was also shaded way the hell into RCF because of reasons...or else he cuts that off and holds the runner at 3rd

Strike zone is rapidly expanding. That pitch to Machete was 6 inches up and 6 inches outside

 

Rays have had a lot of opportunities for luck.

 

So have the Astros.

 

Springer must not be seeing the ball

 

Conversely we haven't seen a single Astro hitter shoot the gap because.....analytics?

 

Springer, Brantley,Altuve and Correa....our hitters. Tucker,Bregs,Yuli impotent...Diaz,Maldi..crap shoot.

Snell looks like is pitching a lot better ("stuff"-wise) than last time he pitched ... gonna have to scratch something out and take advantage of the tight zone (hopefully stays tight)
