It'll be the first time he's ever pulled out.

the deplorables on here told me that it was Biden who wouldn’t want to debate Trump

U mean to tell me Trump is already crying and threatening to take his ball and go home? Awww, poor baby.

deplorables also told me Trump would wipe the floor with Biden

How come Biden and his team are chilling after the 1st debate while Trump’s minions are making the rounds on TV trying to explain what Donald really meant and trying to reassure the cult that the debate wasn’t as bad as the fake news media is saying?

Rules can't change without approval of both parties.

    Good.

Biden should still show up and just speak interrupted for 90 minutes.

Its a losing proposition for him. Either he continues to act like a dick and pisses off everybody but his base or he moderates his behavior and risks looking like a beta cuck for his mentally ill followers.

A face-saving excuse to bow out is best case for him.

Well, related to the joke you're making, at least in the case of debates, you know he's in in the first place.

Not sure that is how nonpartisan works.

The bigger news is he think he easily won the 1st debate. No one dare to tell him the truth. Reality hell.

Maybe he can no longer handle the pressure mentally.

Trump doesn't want the rules changed because he knows he can't debate Biden straight up. His strategy is to create chaos, which is undebatable.

He's really just trying to any way possible generate a stutter in Biden. That's the whole strategy.
Talk to any parent of a stutterer (apparently!)

I think he wanted his wife to hug him. But she was having none of it.

No doubt, that's all he wants to do. He won't do well in a back and forth debate where you actually have to be cordial and wait for your opponent to finish their statement.

Original rules is fine, and he agreed to them, just need to put in some hardware to enforce it, which is not changing the rules.

Let's not indulge in this. There's enough to highlight and oppose about the man than needing to stoop to the other side's level and speculate about health issues.

That's pretty damn funny but has left an image in my head that I'm frantically trying to erase...
