Lebron is still the biggest draw regardless, and the Rockets definitely were not a bigger ratings draw...that is just straight up not even close to being true before the bubble, the Lakers had 7 of the 10 highest rated games of the season, and that only continued once inside the bubble the highest rated playoff game this year involves the Lakers maybe people just don’t care about the Nuggets...they were never talked about all regular season, and Jokic and Murray do not bring in casual fans if it was Lakers-Clippers, the ratings would be through the roof

I dont agree. There was no screen for AD, no need to switch, just follow your man. You cant expect Grant, who is tangled up with lebron and not even looking at anything else to switch. It was all plumlee mistake, unless Malone orders where to switch everything and Grant wasnt paying atention. Even if thats the case, once you see your teammate is not looking at you, JUST STAY ON THE PLAY. Awful mistake.
The Lakers have been better in the 4th than the Clippers this bubble season. We'll see if the Nuggets can win consecutive games.

The Nuggets-Clippers got high ratings because it was a Game 7 and not Game 1. Same reason as Rockets-OKC. Everyone with a brain knows that the Nuggets are not a high ratings draw.
I don't disagree with what you say. We don't really know what was said in the huddle. Someone pointed out that Plumlee said something to Grant right before the play began. Maybe Plumlee was telling Grant to switch if AD went to that side and Grant didn't catch that at the last second. The thing is, Plumlee was trailing far behind AD once AD starting running to the sideline. Plumlee was guarding the lane to the basket, not the path to the 3pt line on that side of the floor. So switching would have a better chance of challenging the shot.
people need to remember there was no timeout called for the plumlee sub. This is what PJ Tucker was referring to with his no screen no scheme post when altering the lineup without a timeout to get everyone on the same page. Very possible Plumlee thought they were switching everything and Grant either didnt or didnt hear. just miscommunication in which a timeout situation would have clearly put everyone on the same page on what they should be doing. It wasn't so the results clearly show the confusion
After looking at more angles, I feel like Jokic shouldn't have guarded the inbounder, and instead, should have bodied LeBron or AD, which would give more help to either Grant or Plumlee and allow them to rotate quicker to whoever actually got the ball, as Grant and Plumlee are both faster (laterally) than Jokic.
I still think it was the right play. Let AD take the 3 rather than Lebron bully his way to the rim. Maybe the Nuggets could have made them take a tougher look, but that shot probably goes in 2-3 times out of 10. Don't think the Nuggets would have been too angry in the locker room.
