for a slow and poor separation player at least DeAndre would run good routes.

Does anyone else notice how much ARZ used Nuk on the outside?? Using his natural athleticism and instinct to the teams advantage? OBrien tried to convert NUK into a slot receiver! LOL - Hopkins was targeted a ton here not because of a mental deficiency by Deshaun Watson but simply because he got open the most.

I just posted that because (without going back and reading to be sure) I think there were some arguing here that BOB quietly searched the market and got the best deal possible due to Hopkins' contract demands. This seems to indicate that BOB didn't do his due diligence, and just decided that he really wanted David Johnson and 2nd rounder, and that was a sufficient return. I think there is too much conflict of interest for BOB to wear both hats successfully.

Pretty sure this dismantles the whole “he was on the market for a year” thing, but BOB fans will just for some reason think he’s lying...I mean can’t we all just accept he made a bad trade? Hopefully David keeps playing well and stays healthy and the receivers pick it up and blacklock becomes great and it all works out...it will still be a terrible rushed trade, but I hope somehow it works

Most importantly the billy boys will never see how dangerous it is to make 'moves' out of impulse, when the teapot water is boiling and about to blow the lid off. GMs are supposed to be level headed, he is none of that.
All that said, Dhop is annoying me with his. throwing obvious shade. Then, "Ha! I'm not really throwing shade. Y'all just obsessed with me." type of attitude.

Going from the Texans/BoB to the Cardinals/Kingsbury is like going from living in a box to living in a penthouse suite. Hopkins is forever grateful.

    8-68-1 TD (Cardinals 2-0)
Hopkins got out at about the right time.
'Dre, Watt probably wish they got out sooner. Watson gonna wish he didn't sign that 4-year extension. (ties him to Houston 6 more years)

GD it BRIAN! DOESN'T MATTER BRIAN!

After 2 games, Hopkins leads the league in receptions and is 4th in receiving yards.

David Johnson is 24th in rushing.

To be fair the Vikings got pretty good return for diggs and the bills barely won against the fins

booo. I thought D-hop had tweeted "F' you, Bill D'obrien" then deleted it and saying we're blowing things out of proportion.

It's certainly shaping up that way.

Not only were we underpaid, but strategically speaking this trade was the equivalent of shifting into neutral and stomping on the gas pedal.

So much opportunity and effort wasted.

Did it not occur to anyone who gets paid to analyze these things for a living....that perhaps Hopkins presence on the field was creating opportunities for Fuller...when Fuller could manage to get on the field in the first place? The offense looks awful, and the defense isn't good enough to carry the load.

I know we will face easier opponents soon...but beating bad to mediocre teams only to be outclassed by the league's best is the franchise hallmark so many of us are hoping stops repeating itself.

But Hopkins made the coach mad once, so nothing else mattered.
