That should have been an AND1.

You can clearly see the Lebron bump to Harden's back/shoulder before he made that dunk.

the intelligence of harden to dunk it from the side of the rim instead of straight on, on the opposite side of where the defender was creeping for the block

this is why I can’t stand these losers

What prompts a comment like this? What about Harden wasn’t fun to watch in game 1? The player that everyone hypes up who is actually extremely unwatchable is Giannis.

    True.

Be patient, Harden's path can not be easy, the Gods have spoken. He must transcend, like Hakeem, greater obstacles than the Fake Kings of this world. Titles forged from loyalty.

Lebron is no king, his last 3 playoffs were: Gentleman's Sweep, Sweep, No Show. That's why he had to actually go buy a physical throne. He's insecure, he sees the dangers ahead.

"harden is not fun to watch"

how can you watch last nights game and be not be entertained by the beard. one of the best performances i've seen him play tbh.

just such cerebral basketball. body control, ball control, opponents body control.. he sees it all in real time.

Most historical kings were products of bloodline.

    A noble that ascended throne.

The word king or monarch means ruler yet sports media made it larger than life.

The difference between Westbrook’s breakaway on LeBron and Harden’s breakaway on LeBron is a distillation of why Harden eclipsed Westbrook as a player. Harden has such keen awareness of what the defender is doing and how to exploit or thwart it. Westbrook focuses on beating you. Harden focuses on abusing you.

Sometimes Harden is too aware though, and out smarts himself when he should just attack.

You realize that Tuner Sports and Warner Brothers sports are investors in Lebron media company? There is no way they will throw shade on him. The sooner you realize basketball is all about business first the less stress you will have about it.... I still stress because I live and breathe basketball but it is what it is.

Also... some of the media’s biggest investors and brands are investors into Lebron. The more they prop up his image and brand, the more money they make.

It's symbolic in sports obviously. Sports in general are not democratic, they are militaristic (i.e. autocratic). The symbol fits for this basketball metaphor, although the actual idea is repulsive of course.

Hardens offensive and defensive genius is so much more fun to watch than a bum like ontekompo diving into defenders elbows first ever play.

Dude looks goofy as hell. Harden plays with power and grace for a guy his size

Harden can be very smooth...often, it looks like he glides on the court

Giannis is anorexic Shaq if he decided he wanted to dribble out on the perimeter all the time and shoot threes...his game is absolutely hideous

every youth coach in America is teaching kids what Harden is doing...ain’t nobody in the gym telling kids to watch tape on Giannis or basing drills off his trash ass game

    Giannis is straight up unwatchable

Harden just hit peak fitness, belly is gone, looks light on his feet.

Westbrook still needs 1 or 2 games looks like. I like the way this is gaining momentum.

You should ask that question to non-Rockets fans, if you really care about the answer.

NBA hasn't changed. Just when you thought folks were just content with the games being back, the hating and hyping of star players continue.

    Just enjoy the simple ride.

Won’t take part in that fake media question, however I can answer that there has never been a station (MSDNC) less fun to watch in the history of their genre.
