    I haven't seen a lot of Lakers games this season, but man LBJ was so unimpressive to me. He probably got away with 3-4 fouls (reaching, etc.) that were pretty blatant, and he had a few strong blocks and bully points, but he does not seem to be a reassuring presence on the court. He gets frustrated with teammates, seems to "check out" when things arent going well, and just looks distant from the rest of the squad. This may be reading a lot into one game, but I would hate playing with a guy like him on my team.

    Rockets daring them to keep playing Howard and/or Magee. I cant wait until they give in and go small. They are really missing Avery Bradley

    Exactly. Ive been seeing many people claim the lakers will win easily because they just beat dame and CJ and it prepared them. We dont play anything alike on either end.

    Portland was stupid for doubling down on size instead of going small.

    Also another one-game knee-jerk reaction: Kuzma sucks. I can't believe anyone thought that guy was the next coming of a superstar.

    The absolute brute strength that our "smaller" guys have isn't ever factored in when these experts go on record BUT it comes up when we start holding our own.Tucker, Harden, Gordon, strong bases, strong cores and then add ROCO with his 7' 2" wingspan and J Green that can defend hard and hit from distance and you have a tough match up.

    If we're hitting our threes its "where do you want to die"? Mix in Rivers with a quick first step and above average defender.....the pieces are there and MDA.....well tonight he hit all the RIGHT buttons between TOs and match ups so props to MDA

    Yeah. The Rockets were way more prepared for how to play the Lakers with having a good, specific game plan.

    The Lakers played like they had no idea the Rockets were small ball team. I mean if you're not going go small, you have impose a particular style of game, tempo and play sets. The Lakers did none of that. Vogel was outclassed.

    I think playing OKC also prepared us, particularly harden. Didnt see the lakers able to defend harden 1 on 1 as good as Dort
