House (and BMac) should have had MIP consideration.

 

If the Lakers have any shred of intelligence, they would abandon that twin tower lineup and start Davis at Center. Both Dwight and Mcgee are huge liabilities against this smallball squad. They dont offer enough offense and they're not good at defending the corner 3s.

It gives them more spacing AND
they're bigger and more athletic than us at the same time.

 

That's the lineup that Russ torched for 41 pts.

There is not 1 player on that starting 5 that can defend Russ on perimeter. Even when AD sagged off him, Russ killed him with the mid range at FT line/elbow.

There is no lineup Lakers have that can slow Rockets.

Only Rockets cold shooting can beat the Rockets.

 

They dont need to defend Russel Westbrook in the perimeter. Russel Westbrook's mid range jumper is the worst shot in basketball in terms of efficiency.

that's the thing though...AD don't want to play the five. he's soft. don't want to get hurt, and he doesn't want to do the dirty work.i bet he made the lakers agree to play him at the four as much as possible....

They way we played in the first series I do not think we will do much against LA. Now if we take less 3s more layups and dunks are shot % is 55 or 60 with less turnovers through out the series we have a decent chance to advance to the next round.

IMHO Lakers in 5 maybe 6

 

Literally every media outlet predicting Lakers 4-0, 4-1 Rockets. It'll make it extra hilarious when Lakers lose.

Can't wait to see how these media members backtrack on their predictions.

 

I'm sure it's been discussed but how funny is it that the "Home" team won every game in round 1 for the Rockets series ... Hopefully the Rox can steal a victory on the "road" tonight
