I think the date that he comes back should be determined solely and exclusively by the results of this poll.

In talking to two friends of mine , one a doctor the other a trainer of professional athletes - the team says its a "grade 1" strain while both of them say its more likely a "grade 2 strain" because of the reoccurrence and that a grade 1 is a week / 10 days recovery while a grade 2 is FOUR to TWELVE Weeks!

We may not see a healthy Westbrook the entire post season if they are correct.

I mean obviously it depends on the series. If it is 1-1 you probably see Westbrook.

If he and Harden were a younger duo then you just sit him and get ready for next year. Since they are not, every year is precious, he needs to play as soon as he's able to impact the game.

Do we know there's a re-injury risk if he comes back now? He played against SA with it..

I think we have to unless we go down 2-0 or 3-1...it would be so stupid to be at either 1-1 or even down 2-1 and bring him back early to only see him A) not play well because he needs his explosiveness to perform and I'm not trying to watch him take jump shots and 3s all game or B) make things worse and then be out the rest of the playoffs.

At the end of the day we should be this Thunder team without him...if we can't beat them without him we probably aren't beating teams like the Clippers, Lakers or even the Bucks with him.

Sit him until he’s better. An injured Westbrook will not help us.

We have to see how they do without him right? If the Rockets go down 0 - 2 in the series then we have to try and bring him back G3 if the doctors say it's okay. If the series is tied 1-1 we can risk him sitting out another game but if we lose g3, bring him back in g4. If we go up 2 - 0 we can risk the next 2 and play him g5. But this guys tolerance for pain is high and he heals just as fast as Wolverine did I believe he'll be back no later then g4 of the series.
