Hey, imagine that, after Abbott issues the July 2 order requiring face coverings, things improve. Look at the TX Med center data. Two weeks after the order, hospitalizations peak and have been dropping since. Same with positive test percentage. Exactly zero people are surprised.

Must be a fun talking point for you to suggest people are rooting for covid to spike or worsen. It’s a stupid thing to say and compounds your other ignorant posts. You want to shield Abbott’s incompetence so badly that you resort to garbage like that. Give me a break. People want covid managed and under control. People want Abbott to follow science. He and trump are months late to the whole face coverings thing. You want to give them a Hall pass for that, go ahead. But you are revealing a desperate ugliness by accusing folks of wanting Texas to be rife with covid. You have lost your way.

yeah but Cuomo blah blah blah blah. I added that to save you the trouble.

Note 26 July 2020, United States of America: no updates were received today prior to the data
cutoff time, thus regional and global totals for new cases and deaths are substantially reduced.
The figures will be adjusted when data are available.

With 1,000 new coronavirus fatalities in Texas in just 6 days, the state's death count is rising faster
More than 5,000 people in Texas have died from COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, according to state health data released Sunday.

There can be zero debate that there are liberals who want more covid cases and deaths because they think it could help them politically. If you can’t notice that, you’re blind.

Politically? Politically regarding what? The left wants this country to quarantine, or at least take major precautions to blunt the infection rates, hospitalizations, and deaths. This doesn't have **** to do with politics, this is a basic math equation.

If the left wanted this to blow up just so Trump looks bad, we would simply be in unity with right by chanting to re-open everything, and that wearing masks is oppressive, but of course, we're not ****ing lunatics, we're fighting those notions, because we aren't yearning for deaths and despair, you drooling imbecile.

Please. Distancing went out the window for the George Floyd protests, and liberals looked the other way.

Please. Majority of liberals (i dont even count myself as one) acknowledged the protests werent good for distancing. This is another instance of you pointing fingers like the child you are.

Waah waaah theyre protesting so why cant we go to our jobs waaah waaah

Because the purpose of protesting was for injustice, you numb nut.

I agree it sucks distancing went out the window during a pandemic, really bad time for a cop to brutally murder a man on video for the whole nation to see. Acceptance of people protesting police brutality is not support for COVID deaths for Trump to look bad, and you know this. You're just a dishonest jackass.

We get literally daily reports of repugs not wearing mask.

I was on a work zoom call friday ( not months ago..FRIDAY!!) and this buffoon country guy was saying in the meeting he wouldn't wear a mask. these people still exist!

Repugs are the party of no mask no science. Its going to just disappear as the tarot card reader promised!!

My favorite is going to get takeout and the redneck sitting at table in restaurant all to themselves like some kind of village idiot that thinks hes some kind of baller. I feel so bad for these restaurant folks.

Meanwhile in the real world and actual facts:
Research Determines Protests Did Not Cause Spike In Coronavirus Case

You post a lot of ridiculous takes and saying there's zero debate that liberals want more COVID deaths adds to your pile.

What did you think about our President holding campaign events where, in at least one case, tens of thousands were expected, yet no mask or social distance policies were in place?

(and in case you decide to deflect, it was bad that protestors, for the most part, weren't masked)

Let's not mix things up. I have no problem with people protesting police brutality or protesting for BLM. That's part of our first amendment right and it should be welcomed and even celebrated. But we all know that this wasn't the extent of what happened. Radical left groups (Antifa and likely others) shamelessly used these as opportunity to sow chaos, violence and other associated crimes. This of course induced a response from the government to suppress the violence and chaos, which the media jumped all over as the government cracking down on BLM, which isn't true. It's politics, plain and simple. Then of course the media overlooked the fact that many of the protesters weren't distancing or wearing masks, and if you look at the timeline, these protests link up pretty well with the resurgence of covid case growth in cities where the virus hadn't already run rampant (e.g., NYC had already had the virus come and go, and a huge % of the population already had antibodies).

They should have been wearing masks! My point of view has been 1) protect the vulnerable (the MOST important part....which is where NY failed miserably) 2) wear a mask and 3) keep your distance.

This all has absolutely nothing to do with your claim that the left if yearning for more deaths and cases politically, you don't even know what your responding to anymore smh.

Just to be clear, you are in complete agreement that the President and his team were irresponsible in holding their events without requiring masks and distancing.
