[Shams] Eric Gordon to miss 4-6 weeks - Knee cleanup

Two 2nds i'm not sure (and i don't even know if we have two to move lol), but i like Dotson and he's from Houston.

 

He got his extension. The fourth year is "team option" (translation: Fat f***ing chance, homeboy.) So it's three years instead of four, essentially.

I'm not excusing or liking how he handled it, but it isn't exactly unprecedented. Shaq would have his fun summer off and have surgery right before the season started and only have to play 56-odd games as a result. And still make his money.

Anyway, it's done now, and sucks.

huge relief that rivers is here this time around while EG is injured. would be a much bigger loss having to sign someone off the street in the meantime

Mclemore is so important for us when hes hitting shots. He's honestly a lot like Gerald. Amazing when hes hitting shots, useless when he isnt...well not usesless, but his defense is pretty poor.

 

Hopefully we are in the playoff picture then.

If he is healthy come playoff time then this is fine. He has been relatively reliable in his time here and something was off this year. Sometimes it takes actually games to realize it. Hopefully we can hang around the 5th seed until Christmas.

 

Good thing we dumped Ennis for nothing so broke-boy Tilman could save some money.

 

Wow so I suppose this was at least a partial reason why he has been so below average to start he season, weird that it just coming to light now if it was and existing issue ... rivers can’t match Ego when he’s on but he is solid enough to play those mins and is a better defender quite honestly

 

Clemons is not the answer. Too small, can't guard anyone. Will get destroyed defensively. McLemore will be the one that has to step up. Has to shoot the ball better, but has been doing the little things, good help defender, makes the right play on offense in terms of when to pass or shoot. He can definitely be a solid rotation piece and on some nights maybe even more if his shot is really falling.

 

rivers is solid enough to play extended minutes but he isn't a better defender than EG, especially when it comes to bigger players

 

Since last year, what the duck?! How was this not tested during the off-season???!!! Rockets have to be bottom 5 in the league at handling injuries...

 

No green, no gordon, no nene, capela playing partially hurt, westbrook not playing all back to backs.

Imagine if we were 100% healthy.
