Gordon is 6'3.25 and Beal is 6'3.5 (both without shoes).

Gordon has a 6'9 wingspan and Beal is 6'7.5.

Both of them have a standing reach of 8'3. Both of them are undersized at SG. It was in all of both of their scouting reports and the NBA has gotten taller. We especially can't live with that given Paul is also severely undersized and so much switching is happening.

That length isn't a problem at their skill level. Paul and Beal are both ++ defenders. I'd gladly give up 4 picks and EGo for Beal. And I think we could get a couple other pieces in a roster cannibalization deal as well.

I can also easily see using knight to take Wall of their hands IN LIEU of 4 picks for Beal.

The EGo/Knight combo has been discussed extensively with Washington and Miami for several months. As has Capela.

Also...If there's a deal involving Wall....It would likely include porter, jr and not Beal. Ideally Wiz want to dump wall and keep Beal.

 

Harrison Barnes may be available. Excellent at catch and shoot, versatile defender, good physical profile. Hitting 39% of 6.4 3pa this season.

How similar is his career path to Ariza? Athletic defensive role player on a champion. Leaves to see if he can be a scorer. Improves on some things. If we can get him to commit to being an high end role player, he can be excellent. Definitely overpaid, but this guy can give us 15 efficient points off the ball while being an excellent defender. Capela/Tucker/Barnes frontcourt might actually solve our defensive issues.

They might settle for expiring contracts, which we would have to send via 3rd team. Not sure we want to help the Mavs contend sooner, but I feel like they may find a taker anyway.

 

Thought about him ^ as well but the Dallas factor always seemed like a road block to me

I think TB is Tobias Harris. Cod has definitely mentioned him in the past. He's about to be a free agent, and if LA thinks they might lose him for nothing, they might trade him now to get value. Not sure if the Rockets could outbid other teams, but you never know. Maybe Gordon and picks would be enough.
