I bet Beverley will start. We are having trouble rebounding, and he's a good rebounder. We are having trouble defending and he's a good defender. We want to push the pace while keeping the spacing, and Beverley can do both of those things. Gordon will come off the bench but play more minutes I think.
can we trade this guy now to Denver for Faried or Wil Chandler..they need a 2 guard with Harris injured
Omg whenever he checks in and throws himself into an offensive foul or in the air with nowhere to go, he reminds me of LIN ..... At this point i will take Whitney's ex husband over him ......... Utter disgust .....
People need to support the players on this team that hustle and don't hurt the team. Brewer has not contributed solely to any losses. He hustles, and is aware his game is struggling. As Rockets fans, we need to root for him to get better. It's still early in the season, and he has the skills to re-emerge as he did in 14-15. People were red with fire when KJ didn't get PT, and we saw how that turned out. Dude is selfish. Brew is a teamplayer.
As long as Dekker, Pat, Gordon, and that second unit keeps playing well with Brewer on the floor he's going to be there with them. Sure individually he's not playing great but D'antoni is looking at how the whole unit performs playing together and they are playing great, thus he will stay in the rotation. Somehow people want to ignore how well the other players are playing with him on the floor and just want to focus on his 3pt shooting and whatnot. You could put in a more talented player in there and if the other guys on the court start playing worse then D'antoni is going to go back to Brewer cuz is not about how well is that one player performing but how the whole UNIT is playing together and again they are playing really well in those mins he is out there.
Need to rush brewer to the buffet with him. If he drives to the basket a good solid fart will provide enough resistance to throw him off balance. Zone defense indeed! Put some meat on his bones, he doesn't even have enough muscle or energy to get the ball all the way to the rim on 3s.
