Calling people who pointed out a legitimate flaw "trolls" is pretty stupid....but you do you Hoyer fan.

    To be honest...

That bobble cost him a TD.

Could have cost the Texans the game.

He played well but he needs to make the easy ones.

Second week in a row his hands cost him 6.

I did say he had horrible hands at Notre Dame last year. I stand by that. Everything was against/off his chest. Anybody who wants to go back and watch the film and try and prove me wrong, I can get you a link.

I never said small hands, ever. Small hands don't bother me. Plenty of sure-handed receivers with small hands. John Brown's hands are as small, and I like him. IIRC, Marvin Harrison had small hands, too. Brown was my best case comparison for Fuller.

Also, I did say last week it is pretty clear that he has been working extremely hard on his hands. I didn't believe that anybody could get that much better that fast at this age, especially if they'd been a big-time recruit to a major D1 school like ND but he has. He should sue the ND coaching staff, honestly, for not teaching him how to catch with his hands. Criminal negligence.

I also don't want anybody to try and claim that he is Steve Largent just yet. His hands are much, much better. He's better, even, that a bunch of other guys in the NFL. But watch DeAndre Hopkins, even some of his drops, if you need an asparational comparison for Fuller. His hands are pretty good most of the time at this point, but he's not all-World with the hands just yet. And DHop is still the #1 receiver for the moment. As quickly as he's gotten better, though, I'm not going to say Fuller will never get there. He has gotten better faster that I thought possible.

Fuller, Hopkins and Miller are our gift from the football gods for dealing with Jacoby Jones, Lestar Jean, Devier Posey and Keshawn Martin, amongst all the other WR2 flame outs the Texans have had over the years.

They were at the 2 yard line. They should've easily scored when they were that close. I swear people are making too big a deal about fuller's hands.

You do know that soon to be hall of famer has led the league in dropped passes before right? I will gladly take a dropped pass here and there if Fuller can make big plays like he's done so far.

Fuller is a game changer with his speed...I'll happily take the bad, because he brings too much good.

We havent even really mixed Braxton into the offense much. Once defenses start focusing more on Fuller/Hopkins, that's when Braxton is just going to tear defenses with the underneath passes.

Fuller is making it an issue. Two games, two drops and a juggle thrown in. All on the same over the should technique which is great because 1) he's getting open and 2) it can be fixed because it's a technical issue.

Yeah, it's cost the team 2 TD's but he's still been awesome. Imagine how amazing he'd be if he had really good hands?

If there was no knock on his game, he wouldn't have fallen to us with the #21st pick!

c'mon peeps, gotta take the bad with the good for now. Coaches are coaching him up--at least now he didn't drop the ball. And Brock threw him a shorter pass this time, not some 80-yarder ...Baby steps ...

More worried about the O-line. And we gotta mix up more Blue and Grimes early. Lamar Miller can't get pass the tackles.

I also thought even if he had caught that ball cleanly, that safety was coming on real fast. He would still have been tackled short of the goal line. IMHO

That's just the thing, no one is really knocking him. Some are just pointing out the good and the bad while others I guess get triggered by that and freak out.

AGAIN....you also said, "he's not explosive AT ALL".

You also said, "basically Fuller tore it up against a bunch of guys who wouldn't make the Texans practice squad".

So what's your excuse for his production this week? Does KC have a weak ass secondary?

Kid has played TWO freakin games in his CAREER, and has over 100yds receiving in both of them. He's made quite a few explosive plays as well.

Strong dropped a pass in the endzone and Hopkins bobbled one too. Maclin dropped two as well

It's a concern but some trolls are making a big deal only when fuller does it

It isn't as big of a concern, it only looks worse than it is because of how badly he's been destroying his man

Yeah he gets so much separation.

I mean I agree it's a relative weakness for him but even the best receivers drop and bobble passes

Yeah, you missed the part where right before it I said he has great straight line speed. He doesn't have explosiveness to change direction left or right. His screen in week 1 was awesome, but he didn't exactly have to blow around any defenders. The lane was made open for him. Straight line. One little minor change of direction, but he didn't "go around" anybody and make them look stupid. Nobody left on their ass wondering how they didn't tackle thy guy right in front of them. Who has he deeked out of their cleats in these first two games like Lamar Miller does in the open field? Great straight line speed. Not explosive change of direction. He doesn't have that great DHopkins leaping and body control, either. zOmg! Did I really just say something so horrible? You know what? He's also not 6'5" with giant arms to win every 50/50 jump ball like Larry Fitzgerald. Heresy! Stone the witch!

Like bobby says, apparently if I don't fall on the ground and rub one out thinking about him and everything he does, I'm a hater?

As for the competition level, did you see the play where the ball bounced off the back of Philip Gains' head? That is the difference between going against UFA scrubs who run a 4.7 with Chicago and a 3rd round guy like Gaines who ran a 4.38. All the people who watched him run right by scrubs against the Bears and said he was going to do it again this week, when I said otherwise and said it was going to be a better test this week, I think I was pretty damn right on that one. They played a defense with a lot of talent and they didn't embarrass them with receptions where they were 20 yards from the nearest DB like they did the Bears. He and the rest of the WR's had to work a whole lot harder against KC than Chi. This week was absolutely a better test against a more talented defensive backfield than they faced last week.

Would you really claim that the Bears DB's looked as good as the KC DB's? If so you have no idea what you are watching.
