Harden would shut down, take the ball and go home till the next coach is hired. Westbrook may try to fist fight. Either way not the way to deal with these two.

I mean if KD can get Brooklyn to hire Nash.

We can at least interview Lucas if the players want right?

Lose all of the D’Antoni system, be prepared to waste another year of Harden’s prime learning a new one. Maybe 2 years...

That's fine. Give me Bev, Lou, Zubac (they can keep and re-sign Harrell) and only that. As for making salaries work that's for the Clippers to work out. Re-sign Jeff Green and keep House despite his dumf*ckery.

    Zubac
    Tucker
    Covington
    Harden
    Beverly

    Green
    Bruno
    House
    Gordon
    Williams

That's a more balanced roster as you're not looking at a huge drop off on offense when Harden sits.

So we give up 3 FRP and 2 Swaps to get the players we sent out minus the best one?

    That's a terrible look.

I'd need more than that if I'm Morey.

Bucks are the team out of the two.

Middleton + a bad contract (Bledsoe probably) + DJ Wilson

Heck I'd do it for Brook Lopez + Bledsoe + DJ + a FRP in 2024 or 2026 to recoup our lost one.

They are desperate to keep Giannis and while a bad fit on a paper, The Bucks having 4 shooters surround Giannis didn't end up in a single Finals appearance after leading the league in Winning %. Russ brings in a big name to convince Giannis to sign long term and that's all that matters.

I don't care about what we gave up as I care more about what we get back. Would getting back any of those Bucks players be better? Absolutely but I'm responding to the Clipper rumor and not a Bucks rumor and there's nothing else that team has that I would want that would be on the table. Hell, they don't even have draft picks to trade.

The Clippers and Bucks were both mentioned by BraBra in the same sentence. He agrees that the Clippers have nothing of value for Russ. They have no picks, only Shamet as a young player. It also puts another team in the way of Harden's shot at a finals. Makes no sense as much as Paul George wants him it would essentially force the Rockets to trade Harden.

Middleton is a much better fit here next to Harden.

Imagine adding Middleton, moving Harden back to the PG position, adding a real general in Bledsoe to run the second unit and adding some size in the mean time.

I don't think they'd trade Khris for Russ tbh but if they would.

    Harden / Bledsoe
    Eric / Ben
    Middleton / House
    Roco /
PJ / DJ Wilson / Bruno

That's actually a much better small ball 5 man out lineup.

I agree with you 100%. They need a tougher coach who want let the both of them run the team. John Lucas is a nice guy and was a good coach, but he's just not what the Rockets need right now. Move on to the next interview.

    Silly fake source.

John Lucas is apparently great for devolpment and being a father figure for the guys. If that's his selling point why make him HC, we literally already have him doing that. If you hire somebody else as a HC you still get the best of John Lucas.
