And I am scrolling through statuses as usual. One catches my eye because it is talking about lesbians and I don't recognize the name at all. So, I click the profile to see who it was and if I was going to delete that person. I see a photo of two girls and think to myself "well this must be the lesbians she was talking about. Your gf is cute, but you...not so much". Then I see a photo of the person with someone I've known since I was 6 (went to a small school in elementary/jr high where everyone knew everyone and their parents/siblings). So..how do you know Kelsey and I don't know you? I scrolled again and saw a photo of my old friend Mitch, who was in one of my friend groups back then. Fond memories playing Super Smash Bros and Halo and trying to be Tony Hawk or Rodney Mullen. I'm thinking.."you know Mitch too? We were good friends back in the day, so how do I not know you? And why do you have all of these photos of Mitch and you're not in any-----" Wait..... Spoiler The news you find on facebook. Life is a trip.
Kind of like when my wife went to her 25th high school reunion. Brandi won "most changed". Brandi used to be Tim.
At first I did not, but after reading your post I realized I must have missed something and I read a bit more closely. Pretty funny
Mitch...noooooooo!!!! I went to a high school reunion and ran into an old buddy. We were friends in 9th grade but had already sorta drifted apart by senior year. He was very popular with the ladies in high school. We're catching up and talking about how he lived in Chicago for awhile but decided to move back home to the Twin Cities. He then tells me without missing a beat that he convinced his boyfriend to move back with him. I take a one second pause to absorb this and then I ask him when he decided to come out and he tells me that he came out in college.
