To make a trade, both teams have to think they are getting the best of it. You have to take some pain to get some gain..... 50/50

He gets one more bite at the apple on draft night. If he doesn't like the deal he's got on the table at the deadline, he might choose to roll the dice on making a trade at the draft when different players might be available.

I'm wary of the chances a midseason trade can put a season back on track to real contention. If Howard really is so hurt, the roster is going to need something more invasive than a band-aid. If they think he's coming back for the playoffs, make trades to maximize our chances this postseason. If they think he's not, maybe they should start setting up for a reload instead.

I'm expecting a PG. I think Morey should offer the Pels pick for MCW. He isnt the best shooter but he can create for others and he fits with our defense.

    *BUMP*

We're getting closer. Do you feel more or less confident now that something will get done?

Hasn't wavered 100% we make a deal by Thursday, whether it's an under radar type move or the Dragic trade we are pining after is left to be seen.

If no deal happens, we're NOT getting out of the 1st round. We have a fool for a coach, and we've been riding on pure talent this season. Playoffs are ALL about adjustments, and our coach can't make any. From top to bottom, we have a top 3 squad in the league in terms of talent, but lack of competent coaching brings up down to around 7/8.

We'll need even more talent to overcome the massive handicap we have that is McHale. McHale has done 2 good things; lured in Dwight with the promise of a better post game, and polished DMO up. THAT'S IT...

100%,we have to make a trade. I'm tired of the roster turnover but we have to if we really are competing for the title. It will be for some veteran help, I hope a starting point guard.

If there is no trade, then the cybersex thread would have been for nothing.

The homer in me wants to tell you GTFO AH.

The realist in me has to agree that your comments are most likely correct.

I will be disappointed. The team needs Goran Dragic.
