Ok so I've recently bought something on a credit card of $50. If I pay off my credit card down to a $0.00 balance and the company in which I spent the $50 at were to give me a refund of the $50, since I have a $0 credit card balance will the credit get rejected or will it show up at -$50.00 in my account?
I had a negative balance on my Macy's card and after I didn't spend it in a few months they sent me a check for the amount.
Cancel your credit card, and apply for new Driver License and Social Security numbers. It is likely that your info has been compromised and you are a victim of identity fraud. You may also want to consider temporarily changing your Clutchfans password to: 123456a.
I work for a credit agency. Email me your credit card number, expiration date, and 3 digit security code. I'll help figure out what's going on. .... I saw the WTF thread title and I knew right away who the OP was.
believe it or not I asked this because maybe they didnt exactly understand my correctly but I called Chase about my CC and I was told you can't have a negative balance on your account. So I was utterly confused.
it's actually a common practice to top-up your credit card if u want to use it for a large purchase that exceeds your credit limit…..ie. if u only have a $10k credit limit but need to pay for a $15k family excursion, then transfer $5k to the credit card acct in advance…..the balance would show up as -$5000
