I doubt McHale is playing a lineup that Morey is completely against.

But I do expect Asik to be traded. The Rockets just want the right opportunities to open up. Ryan Anderson proving he's healthy and then Emeka being available? A team interested in a combo deal?

He's not going to make a bad trade or mediocre trade to just get Asik off the team.

Huh? Karl's gotten to the Finals.

I like Karl, but this is way premature to talk about replacing McHale.

Karl would be an upgrade over McHale, but the Rockets aren't firing their head coach 6 games into the season when they're 4-2. McHale will be here the entire season. If the team flames out in the first or even second round, I could see him being on the hot seat, but he'll get at least one full year with this squad.

Karl is underrated apparently, just like Rick was before he was our coach.

Karl has only coached two really good teams. The Sonics for a few years and the Nuggets for a few years.

He took that Sonics team to the finals. The Nuggets team was basically an overachieving team that had a bunch of low bball iq players led by a complete ballhog.

I think George Karl has gotten the most possible out of the rosters he's had. People have too much of a "championship or bust" mentality. It's incredibly hard to even get to the finals, let alone win one. Karl and Adelman are both great coaches.

My bad -- he's been there once in 25 years. Still not worth it.

George Karl has been a fine coach over the years BUT he has been known to choke in the playoffs. Karl is a better coach than Mchale, no doubt but lets not rush into things.

Mchale just needs to stop messing around with this TT lineup. Trust me, all will be well when this is finally fixed.

    Karl
    SVG
    JVG

A lamp post would do no worse than McHale.

Karl probably had the top three players on the floor against Denver in '94.

There is no better time to need a winning coach than now.

Stan Van Gundy, George Karl, JVG, Phil Jackson, Lionel Hollins. Not saying that every single one of them are itching to get back. But, it's a possibility for all.

Don't hold your breath. McHale is staying, not that I am against having Karl over him.

This. It's sad but true. I know McHale won't get canned or anything like that (this season at least) but a Karl or SVG would be perfect and just what we need for this sort of team we have.

George Karl is a choke in the POs and I thought Dwight left Orlando to get the hell away from SVG. McHale is staying. We're only 6 games into the ****ing season guys, chill the heck out
