Even if Jeremy Lin scores more here, there would still be naysayers. But if he only scores 5 or 6 points, expect some serious bashing. To Lin fans, ignore the detractors and stop being so defensive and sensitive for once. IGNORE. Let Lin's game do the talking. Stop defending him.

In the SF Pro-Am, they do play D. The SF Pro-Am is a significant annual basketball summer league event sponsored by the city of San Francisco. The Pro part is NBA and international players. The Am part is college players looking to get noticed and scouted. As for why Lin was playing I suspect it was because Peter Diepenbrock (Lin's HS coach) was coaching the team. Notice that his brother was on the team as well. You can bet that every player looking to get noticed was playing their best on both sides of the floor. People really underestimate how good NBA players are. Even the 12th man on the bench would destroy most college players. Making it to the NBA is hard.

And you must be confused. LIN was the one who dropped 38 on the Lakers and 38 on the Spurs. Bev was the young fellow playing in countries not named America.
