If you don't have a guarantee to get Dwight you keep Asik no matter what. Without him or someone like him, you have no D or rebounding. Now if we end up getting DHO, then you go for it later when the price is reduced.
Maybe, maybe not. The trade machine hasn't rolled forward yet so I don't know all the new salaries for 2013 and I am too lazy to do it by hand. FWIW, using last years numbers, it is only off 65k for Chicago.
I'm not a Lin hater by any means, but I would do Asik + Lin for Aldridge. Though, I'm not sure why the Blazers would take Lin. Beverley Harden Parsons Aldridge Howard
LMA is my dream player for this team. If we could send out Lin + Asik + Robinson + whatever other PF is desired in some sort of a three/four way deal where we receive Aldridge, we will have cemented Dwight as a Rocket. I can't see this happening but crazier things have occured.
Would chicago take back Asik? Asik to Chi Noah to Por LA to Houston match the salaries with fillers, etc
Yes, Noah is definitely better. But when you just look at the numbers it's amazing how close Asik is to Noah. If a team wanted Noah but couldn't get him, then Asik would be a pretty good back up plan.
So would you guys be in favor of being the 3rd team in this scenario? If we cleared out the room and got some goodies, would signing Paul Millsap be reasonable?
lol....you dudes still fall for the pump fake EVERYTIME. If he wants to go to the Bulls....he's going to the bulls. LMAO @ last years DH hype of..."screw him.....trade him and make him suffer" yet.....two teams were on HIS radar.....BKLYN and LA. Where did he end up? Aldridge wants to be traded to Chicago....80% chance he gets his wish and other teams will get involved if needed to make it happen.
