Haha. He should sell apocalypse bracelets, the disaster that's always on the horizon is most profitable.

Why does it matter who it helps? The important thing is that it's helping someone.

We aren't talking about donating a couple of shirts. A quantity that large needs income. Every organization works this way.

I'm glad you started this thread. I came across 400,000 yellow ribbons from the Iran hostage crisis. I will give 3% to the Tony Orlando and Dawn charity if someone can help me offload these.

Could you rebrand them as "Astrodome donation fund" bracelets? Force anybody from New Orleans who spent time in the dome during Katrina to buy one.

Try to somehow change the name to Lin on the wristbands, then come back and try again.

If you could get the green out if them you could market then as rebuilding bracelets for the Laker fans.

Somebody check and see if one of the Laker Girls is named Katrina... could become an advertisement for a plastic surgeon in LA.

Given the Mardis Gras color scheme, perhaps you could wait until next year and try to go to some of the many Mardis Gras celebrations in Louisiana and Southeast Texas. You might could sell them street vendor style although it would take a long time to sell 400,000. I think you may have made a bad investment. I am all for capitalism and think it is a good thing to give to charities but you are teetering on a fine line of doing a good thing by giving to charity and trying to profit from a disaster.
