I apologize for using the word trade in my post, this was not intended as a trade suggestion. First of all dont believe that Gay can be traded again or that this would happen. Many people would rather have Lowry than Lin on the team. Juast wondered if they would like it enough to take on an overpaid but very talented Rudy Gay.
Doesn't matter what us people want. Lowry - Yes, you are right that many would rather have Lowry than Lin. But a guy who clashed with the coach and/or doesn't like him(in before "How could you blame him?!) and management is going to bring him back? Not happening. Gay - An okay, maybe good but not great SF who makes 16+ million the next 2 or 3 years. Acquiring him is a nice way of locking yourself into mediocrity. Daryl Morey isn't doing that. Re-acquiring Lowry(for upgrading the PG position, however big or small that may be) for the sake of taking on or getting Rudy Gay, no.
