Amen Brother. I'm ready for some new young talent. It would be fun to watch the young guys develop.

what does "It's been real" mean? Does it mean Lowry know that the trade will happen?

I would just like one past example of someone with this kind of "big payoff potential" that was equally unproductive, who actually eventually reached their potential.

NewsFlash Bro... That metric stat hasnt been so successful for us has it. The metric is so pointless because it does NOT take into account Defense. Only Offense. Kevin Martin and Luis Scola are pretty good metric players for us, but guess what they get burned all the time on D. What point does it make we you score points on one end, and then get them right back on the other

We need some high upside guys. I dont want Sullinger or any other safe pick. Im tired of being mediocre

BTW you also forgot to mention that Andre Drummond technically is a year younger than the rest of his peers in this draft. He was basically a HS senior playing againist College Juniors and Seniors

BYI this guy is athletic has solid BBiq, is a very UNDERRATED passer out of the post. And is freakishly quick and athletic. Those traits i just described blow out Thabeet

The comparison to Thabeet is so dumb, because for one, Thabeet was not fast, nor athletic. He was just tall( and its quite sad that Memphis took him with the 2nd pick)

Go back through NBA lottery history and you will find out that 90% of the guys that were labeled "projects" only earned one guaranteed contract or if they got a second contract they were career bench players. When you hear the word "Project" to define a draftee, you'd better run. That word usually means "bust".

I predict Drummond falls out of the top 14 picks.

Even if Drummond isn't the target. Picks 2-6 are worth moving up for. MKG, Beal, Drummond, Robinson, or Barnes... All worth it IMO

Actually, it's been too successful. That's the problem.

I doubt they would tell him anything because nothing will be done until draft day. Draft day trades happen on draft night. They are concieved weeks or days before but there are so many things that can change their situation on the dime.

IF they are trading for a draft pick then they are trading for a player they have targeted at that position. If they announce a trade like this it could force teams picking beforehand to re-arrange their plans and contact Houston for leverage.

For example- If Houston made this trade tonight with the assumption that they are taking Drummond, whats to stop Cleveland from calling up Morey and saying that they are now taking Drummond with the 4th pick, but would consider trading back to the 5th pick if we can get another asset in return?

Maybe his agent got word that Lowry's name is being mentioned in trades so they can move up in the draft, but at this point, with 4 days left, you have to assume that Kyle is just making a presumption that "something" is going to happen and he's most likely done in Houston.

This is how Bynum looked before he was drafted. I believe he was 17 or 18:

    http://www.google.com/imgres?q=andr...&w=250&h=233&ei=f-nnT_KgMueA2gXc6qHcCQ&zoom=1

His size and horrible conditioning forced him to fall in the draft, where he went to a franchise that had the patience to develop him. His rookie season, as a 18 yr old, he avg 2 pts and 2 boards in 7 minutes a game, on 40% shooting. He also made 30% of his free throws.

I'm sure the Lakers are glad they judged him on what could be if he put the work in, and not how he looked right after his prom.

This is sooo not a Morey pick

That said, if the Rockets pick him up and keep him it would be an effective 'cashing in' of assets considering our portfolio

Prediction: He'll be the next DeAndre Jordan - which is fine with me because if we keep him we'll have a basket and paint protector that can get rebounds and for reasonable money too.

    NICE!

If he had all that stuff fixed up, he'd be number one pick and we wouldn't have a chance of picking him up. And dude, you are comparing a FIRST YEAR FRESHMAN center to other centers who have developed, gotten bigger throughout college.

Andrew Bynum looked freaking deplorable in the NBA the year he got drafted, much worse then Drummond, sure it was the NBA compared to NCAA. 24% from the FT line

But yeah... he really sucks dude. let's compare a bunch of random statistics and say this guy is better than that guy who has had less exposure but hey thats cool
