Some good options here ... I choose:

    Yao
    Scola
    Tmac
    Franchise
    Chuck Wagon

Last choice is questionable ... But he played in HOU longer than most others on the list. Hard not choosing guys like Shane, AB, Cat, & Rafer, but even harder to not choose chuck.

Given how Francis did in Orlando/NY, I think we do know.

OP said it was for the 45th anniversary. If they did it next year, it would be the 46th anniversary.

Francis played 4 seasons here and looked terrible in all of them.

The reason the Rockets were even relevant in the decade was Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming.

    my team.

    Steve Francis
    Tracy McGrady
    Shane Battier
    Luis Scola
    Yao Ming

Battier and Scola are border line for me, along with Chuck, and Cat.

The person that didn't vote Yao was the poster named Glen Rice.

Yao got us out of the first round. Artest helped almost get us out of the 2nd.

I am guessing you had to have been here 3 seasons to qualify.

I do agree tho, Landry/Artest should at least be on the ballot. While they were here for a short period of time, they were big parts of the most relevant team we had in the decade.

missed that...but i still think they could have spread it out more evenly throughout the year to allow for more votes. It just feels rushed. I'm not sure players had a lot of time to clear their schedules, or if prior commitments were taken into consideration, like with Kenny...

He killed in Orlando when he was traded there, until they traded Cuttino for freaking Doug Christie...

I found the opposite to be true. Steve should have been MORE selfish. He would spend the first 3 quarters of the game trying to get everyone else involved, specifically Mo Taylor and Cuttino Mobley. After he used his teammates to their full extent, he would take over and drop 20 in the 4th quarter. It is AMAZING that he carried those teams to near .500 records. AMAZING...

    Funny how I remember:

dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble
dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble
dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble
(bad pass or shot clock violation).

Everytime I hear the name Steve Francis (or Moochie Norris), a shot clock buzzer goes off in my head.
