Wow, 2 Rockets win player of the week in the same year. We haven't done this since having a healthy T-Mac and Yao. (I'm pretty sure)
He's gonna make it to ALL STAR GURANTEE..Dude Gets Rebounds, Points, aSsits does everything DEFENSE!!..Rebound 10 Reboudn for a PG!??! and almost 10 Assist? and Double digits points and been puttin up at least around 20's...
Earlier in the season, I expected the Rockets to lose close games since it seemed like we didn't have anyone to take charge in those moments. No one knew who should have the ball in his hands at the end of the game. These days, I'm just expecting Lowry to take over and create shots or knock them down himself. I think that confidence is really rubbing off on the rest of the team now that they know who needs to have the ball in his hands at the end. That's what leadership is good for.

I wonder how many people would like to change their votes? I guess this was "at that time" so how he's played since then wouldn't matter, but still, I'm glad I voted for Lowry. Lowry for half season MVP! Pugs
Lowry our starting POINT Guard is ranked at #15 in assists, not very good for such a star in his position.
Well said. I know it must have been tough for you to admit this and see Aaron go, but the show must go on. At the end of the day, we are all still Rockets fans and we should stick together. Think you've gotten more than enough slack from members on the board (some of it warranted, some not so much). It's nice to see you posting again mate.
Also, nice to see Kyle getting some love from the media. Here's a piece from Kelly Dwyer over at Yahoo. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Kyle-Lowry-quietly-stepping-up-in-Houston;_ylt=AtR.f9ot9IJeGy2Lwm8qXeW8vLYF?urn=nba-wp349
Lowry has been a catalyst of this current surge. But, has it been an inspired month (adrenaline for being picked over Brooks) or has he found his niche as a star player? Heck if he could maintain this level of play, he's in the all-star conversation immediately. With D.Williams now in the East, and if Paul goes to the Knicks, we can be talking about Lowry being an all-star game within 2 years. Heck if Lowry maintains only an 80% level of his current play, that puts him at 16 points, 6.5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Which justify him as a solid all around point guard; and at the age of 25 there is a lot of time still for growth and maturity. Plus the most important thing is that he controls the tempo and pace of a game. Something that scoring point guards like Brooks and Francis could not do.
jokes aside, sometimes it's better to trade a player while his trade value is at his ceiling. As usual, I was heavily criticized when I suggested trading AB as soon as he got the MIP. Lowry, no matter how much you love him, has little else room to improve, in fact, when opposing D adapts to him (as happened with AB), besides, he's showing early signs of ballhogging (I hope to be wrong). But hey, if Lowry or PPat become good trade baits for getting a Superstar, FO should not hesitate.
why trade Lowery??...we cant keep trading players because we feel they've hit their ceiling....Thats how championship teams are built..Kyle is the perfect guard for this current Rockets brand of basketball...Now if we get D.Howard, THEN Kyle can kick rocks.....
And whats up with the DD jokes??...Because he's been MIA for a while doesnt give you all the right to take him off the pedestal yall had him on...Because me, myself, personally, NEVER put him on one....I go to war with whomever......I.D.G.A.F!!!!!...DD Hold your head up mane!!! ....wit yo corny azz
