The Rockets gave up nowhere near that value for Durant. Jalen Green was at best a neutral value on his current contract, and Dillon Brooks was worth one first-round pick at the time. The only other first-round pick the Suns got in the trade was number 10 in the 2025 draft (Khaman Malauch).

We agree on Dillon (1) and #10 (2), but we disagree on Green's value.(I value him and his contract at 2)
Btw - I think Malauch is soft...don't like that pick at all.

Jalen Green on his current contract is not worth three first-round picks. That wasn’t the case in the summer, and it still isn’t the case now. The Suns wouldn’t get that for him today if they traded him.

    I said 2. It's speculative value.

Your original post said five first-round picks and five second-round picks. If Brooks is worth one and pick 10 was worth one, that meant Green was worth three. Regardless, I don’t agree that Green on his current contract is worth two first-round picks today nor was he worth that in the offseason. Not with the apron rules.

    It's all good, my friend.

Take another look at my posts. I had the number of first rounders in petenthesis that I ascribed to them. I had the #10 as the equivalent of two.

    It doesn't matter though.
We don't have to agree on everything.

    Peace.
