[Netflix] Stranger Things Final Season

The Lack of meaningful death, wasn't disappointing but did not lessen the "impact" of the ending.
18 months later . . . Life goes on almost no reach consequences.
Heck even the Coma girl graduated on time

I guess we gonna find out where the original dude got the rock from

There's no point in debating whether El survived or not since it wasn't the intent for that to be known. It's looking for an answer when no answer can be found. It's pointless.

 

The final scene at the table in the basement reminded me of the ending from The Leftovers.

 

On that note, Steve's jerk friends from Season 1 and 2, El's bully from Season 4, along with Dr Kay and the jocks, just throw 'em all in a room with a Demo.

 

The first season was fantastic/perfect. Every subsequent season has been just stretching thin plot over unearned sentimentalism to make Netflix cash.

 

I agree that the first season was the best season. It was definitely the fastest paced and the one I skipped the least on. But I stand by my statement, for my personal taste, it was a good show but not a great one. I never could get with the hype, but respected it's premise and story.

I binged the whole series over the last month+, just finished today

I agree with the sentiment that the show would have probably felt better if they were able to compact the series over a shorter period of real world time. I thought 11’s Botox/fillers were very unfortunate for the character, I also don’t understand why they had her dressed in the superhero bathing suit the entire season either.

Outside of that, pretty damn good show. Kind of wished there was more in between time for the characters out of combat/distress, that’s where the show shined best for me.

this final season has been getting sh*tted on

I didn’t mind it tbh, and I quite enjoyed the final sendoff for the characters in the backend of the last episode

overall I’d give the final season like a 7/10
