Yes, of course. So does Will Levis.

Objectively, Levis is more physically gifted.
Any unbiased person can see that.
That doesn’t equate to better QB.

Carr had a bigger arm and was a far better athlete than Stroud.
    Doesn’t mean better QB

I’ve mentioned this before, but David Carr had an interview with AM610 after he played for the Giants and admitted he didn’t know the dedication required to be a starting QB in the NFL until he observed Eli Manning up close.

Waste of God given ability. Carr had every tool you needed to be an elite modern QB, except for the will and work ethic to be one.

I don’t think CJ is the type to not put in work, physical tools are solid but his ceiling is based off the work and QB skills he attains and perfects.

A good sign is he hung around Houston this offseason to help learn a new offense instead of traveling the world, like he did last offseason.

LoL...Ryan Leaf was more physically gifted than Peyton Manning.

What are you trying to say and why?

That Carr was a very talented QB.

You're right, I should have read more of your rando posts above.

You're talking about David Carr (Wow, how pertinent!), and his physical skills from 23 ****ing years ago, not the Carr that's actually playing in the NFL as we speak.

Now read the part where I didn’t bring him up.
    Another poster did.
Also, if you don’t like it, don’t read it.

It really is that simple. You aren’t important, we do not need your commentary about what is or isn’t pertinent.
You self entitled douchebag. All you do is complain about people’s posting that “shouldn’t matter”. News flash, what you think doesn’t matter.
Move around old man, guard your grass and shut the **** up.

Getting back to the OL thread,

I thought Ersery and Andrews looked great. If Howard and Robinson can be avg then the OL should be much improved.

Extremely easy. It’s a post, my reply. Another post, another reply. That’s it.

You chose to inject yourself in something that you didn’t think was important, you weren’t asked to respond or needed.
Typical Buck. b****es about things that don’t need to be b****ed about, then goes on some ridiculous tangent that only he can understand.

I am hoping for a well coached and solid group at OL. I’m not wanting or expecting anything all world from anyone. The Texans had an all-pro LT that everyone ogled and lauded, but his presence didn’t impact the unit. If the unit can provide solid protection and not be near the bottom, the Texans have enough weapons to score a lot of points.

I think we need a much better running game this year and hope the new offensive line scheme will better compliment our running backs. Only problem is will they be complementing our 3rd and 4th stringers. Mixon’s injury and Chubbs apparent loss of explosion is real concerning. Haven’t heard anything about Pierce or our rookie running back for a while.

Seems that the NFL bends over backwards to protect QB, but NFL’s running backs shelf life is but 3 or 4 years…. Running backs perhaps take the bulk of the punishment the NFL has to offer. So much that teams seldom take running backs in the 1st or 2nd round. Any running back that can last over 5 season of producing 1,000 + season are the unicorns.

I wonder if there would ever be any rules to protect running backs? Maybe limit their playing time?

Well, Mixon’s injuries over the last couple of seasons were from illegal tackles, so at least they made them illegal, but the punishment does not fit the crime. It is also a very difficult penalty to call in real time. It’ll never happen, but the penalty should be that the offender has to sit as long as the running back up to some max limit.
