Hamas obviously attacked first on October 7. I was just pointing out that half of Gaza's residents weren't alive when Hamas was elected. You said you don't have much sympathy for Palestinians earlier in the thread and have subsequently called yourself a Christian later in the discussion.

I certainly think Jesus would feel anguish for scores of dead children who didn't ask to be born under a terroristic government or suffer the consequences of that government's holy war. It's possible to hold Hamas in contempt and sympathize with people who never asked for this.

 

Not if you are in a cult and supporting Trump. As long as he is funding blowing limbs off kids, shooting children getting aid, starving babies, and refusing to condemn a leader committing crimes against humanity then to them, it's not crimes against humanity.

Why would so called MAGA Christians, and other MAGA folks bend over backwards to support crimes against humanity like that? Well, because it's all about what Trump says is happening. A perfect example is just like now, with Trump's old friend Maxwell, who was recruiting and grooming underage girls for years when they socialized and partied together. You don't hear the cult cry out about her being given special, and rare treatment, and certainly don't hear them saying she should never even be in consideration for a pardon. We aren't talking about some pedo who tried soliciting one child. Nope. Her crimes went on for years, with the recruiting, grooming, and abuse. But, no outrage from the cult.

It's always like that with cult mentality. They will screw themselves with politically based tariffs on Brazil, based on Trump's personal loyalty to his coup buddy, or personal vendettas against anyone, even if they screw Americans. They were supporting Putin when Trump did, and supporting withholding weapons to Ukraine because Trump did it. Now they will support giving weapons to Ukraine because Trump approved it, and says Putin is bad. LOL
