    He had a good half season last year.

    He is breaking down. He’s not an injury prone 26 year old like he was with us, he is an injury prone 30 year old now. His stats are suffering because of it.

    Speculating, I think the Astros may have been close to a deal for Cease that included Diaz or Caratini, but it fell through.

    The Astros are owned by Jim Crane. They will be making a major move today. Remember James Click? One reason he got fired is he refused to go along with all of Crane’s big-game hunting at the trade deadline. If Brown likes his job security, he will not make the same mistake.

    Feels like a LH platoon bat is on the way. Maybe a pen arm. This will 100% be spun as a successful deadline because of the guys coming back, despite there being no guarantee on Yordan or Meyers lol

    The Harper thing pre-dates Click, and the deal was in place, it was Washington that flaked out at the last second.
