    May have already been posted but just saw that Toro is having a very nice season for the Red Sox. 100+ ABs with an OPS over 800

    I mentioned him in the hypothetical trades thread. I think he’d make a good target if nothing else is available. LH bat with some upside and versatility who shouldn’t cost much.

    I was reading an article about All-Star snubs and happened upon Phil Maton's name. I had no idea the kind of season he was having for the Cardinals this year. Good for him. Hopefully he's at least cracked one smile about it.

    I really thought that his pitching style would bring longevity since he never threw very hard. However, he lost command with age.
