We have seven guys in our pen with a 2.16 ERA or lower. That’s how.

 

Very common for serious injuries to rob guys of a few mph on their heater.

I couldn’t watch, and maybe it was uglier then the box score indicates, but Lance had a quality start with 12Ks and a WHIP of 1.0.

I know it’s against the A’s but given the state of the Astros pitching and it’s only his 5th game back, you have to be pretty happy about where he’s at.

 

We don’t really have the option to do that at this point. I don’t think Colton Gordon is any better.

 

The A’s are not a bad offensive team. Their pitching is straight ass.
