He's also arguing that Hunter should neverr have been given a gun in the first place cuz the application is incomplete by law! The gun owner never wrote the proper ID on box 18b and by default the application is nullified. The gun store owner can not go back and edit 18b after the form has been completed and @Os Trigonum posted evidence proving this point !

Remember the prosecution has to prove the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt. The defense doesn't have to prove anything. The burden is on the prosecutors. The defense just has to sew doubt. The prosecutors are presenting an application form that Hunter lied upon but the application form is improperly filled out while the owner of the store claims he wrote something in 18b which isn't on the form. The way the form is being presented in court is invalid and wrongly filled out. The application should've been denied bcz the form does not have a proper ID with address listed. This case would never have been brought forward if it was someone else.
