he’s a massive upgrade over someone like KPJ, but dude is just so basic and bland as a PG

now that I think about, forget just not being top 30, Fred is probably closer to borderline top 50 in the league

 

His first 25 games he played better than he played last year with the Raptors.

This thread is a joke. Worst? Many people complained that he only passed it to Sengun for assists, but you tell me, who in our roster can pass the ball to Sengun without having a big chance turning the balls over? FVV is shooting .380+ on 3s and he doesn't turn the ball over too much. He almost gave you 4 rebounds per game as a midget. What's more are you asking for? He may not worth the max and that's very likely to be true, but his contract is only 2 year guaranteed. English is not my first and second language even I know the thread title should be "

Top 20 pg is not very impressive and that’s with his hot start. I was ok with the signing because we had to spend the money and the contract was only two years guaranteed. What a lot of us did not understand, is how bad a fit he is with virtually the whole team other than Alpi. He has reverted to the chucker reputation he had with the raptors. Ime better get a handle on his minutes fast or Stone/Tito are going to do something stupid.

We simply don't have a solid backup at the PG spot. Holiday is doing fine as a vet-min level player but can't be relied on too much. Amen is not ready (hopefully soon). And that's it. Udoka tried Jalen and it's not pretty. So he is forced to play FVV heavy minutes even when he is "obviously" (with Ime's non-emotional voice) chucking.

I hope Amen will get more burns even if it means losing a few more games.
