Maybe you guys are too sensitive and that criticism is there because he is really freaking good, and the fans of the Rockets want him to be on the floor for 40 minutes a night cooking offensively. Without him shoring up some weaknesses.... dude won't be able to freaking play... much less be a "franchise cornerstone." You guys interpret this often well intended criticism as the opposite of it's intent. Do you know why nobody talks about Nix's specific skills in a critical way, and just offer generalities about him being a crappy baller??... Because nobody here envisions him as a cornerstone. The fact that people do want to get in the weeds to discuss SPECIFIC improvements that Sengun can make means they are investing themselves in him. If you cannot understand that then I really don't know what else to say. The Sengun only fans need to get their sh$t together. This cult like mentality ruins the experience of a fan community like this.
People will listen to criticism about Sengun, when the same venom applied to him is applied to the other youngsters on this team. If only every post saying get Sengun off the court he can't be relied upon because of his defense - was followed with the same call to get Green out of the game. Except it isn't. Thus why people so actively push back. The fact you're trying to come from some position of authority is hilarious to me. I don’t know what you mean by “you guys”. Maybe “you guys” need to get your head out of your ass and realize Alp is a cornerstone and maybe Green is the Robin? I don’t see any of you complaining about their defense, only Alp. It comes across very suspect. End of the day, I support all our young guys. You and others support “some”

No one complains about Green's defense here. And no one brushes of Sengun's poor defense by saying it's Jalen's fault.

Those fans aren't NBA GM's. How in the world are they "trying to trade" Sengun? That comment on it's face is ridiculous. Did someone make a comment like maybe this team would be improved in their win total this season with a rim runner, and shot blocking traditional 5??... possibly... but that's not saying that Sengun isn't the more talented player that needs to be developed further to ultimately improve this team's ability to contend. You guys just take everything out of context, and really blow out of proportion the power of hot takes on the internet. Nobody here has the power to make a trade happen.
You’re right. No one complains enough about Green (and pretty much the whole team) defense. It gets primarily blamed on Alp. Which is bullshit
