After that great start to the 2nd half the defense sure went to ****. On offense they went from good ball movement to dribbling for 20 seconds and scrambling for a bad shot.
After Travon mark got fouled out, our team morale and swagger lost from there. Too much complaining to the refs instead of playing defense ! Damn what a tough loss
Tough ending to the 2nd half. Onto Tuesday. And another big matchup next Saturday refs fouling out mark on a terrible call changed the game for UH
Just a habit of taking some terrible shots down the stretch. Hate to see this amazing crowd go home with the L but a good humbling is never a bad thing. Regroup and beat UVA
We lose so much when Mark leaves the floor. Walker does not have the quickness to stay with guys like Tramon and Arceneaux is too green.
Marcus Sasser didn’t do shiii the last 4 mins of the game. Heck the whole team didn’t score the last 4 mins of the game. Besides Shead and travon. Our players sucked ass in the 2nd half, they got to comfortable and played p***y ass basketball
Shead led. Not sure Sasser was 100% this game. Agree that bad call on Mark changed the game, and the FT disparity was glaring-- but how I wish we could make FTs when we do get 'em! Need to look at film and figure out our defensive lapses in the second half. Good game to learn from. Nothing but praise to throw at those Alabama kids. They were down 14 and whipped us convincingly down the stretch. Hope we can get the revenge W in March!
Crowd looked awesome on the TV. Constant hustle and defense was there. They ran into a very good team who is just as athletic as UH is. Lack of shooting and half-court offense once again was their downfall.
