The amount of people reveling in the failure of a player on our team is weak. Yall should not be happy to see any player on the rockets flame out. Regardless of the fact that this is entirely premature, there's just too much glee in his struggles. The rockets bet big on him and gave him a big opportunity and contract, it's in our interest that he does well and turns into a good player. It's lame as hell.

My favorite was KPJ was clearly the best player on the team.

I'm definitely rooting for him to succeed.

He ain't going to do it as a pg though.

Is there anything wrong with a 29th overall pick having a Jordan Clarkson type career? That's an above average NBA career and that is who he is and that is how he will succeed.

We have Jordan Clarkson running the point for us essentially.

Sunken cost fallacy right here. We wanted Ariza to be "the guy" at one point too.

I would definitely say KPJ is more offensively gifted than Ariza though. But Ariza's strength was how much his overall defense and presence just contributed to winning. He eventually knew who he was. A great role player.

Huh? I don't even know how you got that from what I wrote. I never said or suggested it. All I'm saying is you should not be happy when your team has a swing and a miss like this. It should not spark joy to watch your team fail.

Sure, he was a better scorer but I'd rather have a player like Ariza on my team over KPJ.

Most people here are not hoping to see KPJ fail, they are just annoyed the organization is persisting with its decision to make KPJ "that guy" when it's clearly not working and hindering the development of all our other players. The experiment has gone on for long enough. When you have a swing and a miss, the right thing to do is accept the mistake and adjust, not double down hoping it will work out.

I'm just glad the organization realized quickly that Ariza was not going to become the next T-Mac and ended that experiment as soon as they were able to.

Yeah, I agree with you. I don't know what I've written that makes you think I disagree with this statement. I'm taking issue with the people who seem very pleased with this outcome, rather than being bummed out.

No one should be happy. We should all be pissed.

Ariza is probably as good as you can get for a defensive wing. The guy just contributes big time everywhere he went except for that one season with the Rockets where he pretended to be Tmac

We do have Ariza on the team, his name is Jabari Smith Jr.

That's honestly offensive to Ariza at the moment to compare Jabari to him.

I just do not want KPJ as our point guard! Seriously, the guy is a ball hawk, hero ball lover!!! Yesterday, he dribbled all over the court every time for 15 seconds then he either shot a crazy shot or gave it to someone to shoot at the last second. SERIOUSLY!!!! Silas does not say anything. the Rocket's announcers did not say anything! Gordon is tired of this and said, we need to pass and trust each other. KPJ done this all night:

I'd love to see him succeed. I just don't think he's going to. Atleast not as a PG and definitely not under Silas' wing.

You could say I've been bummed out after 2 last place finishes and a 2-12 start to this season. I'm very pleased to move on from KPJ as the Rockets starting PG.
