Ohtani would be like trading for both Castillo and Happ. The price would be very, very high; something like Garcia, Brown, Leon, Barber, and Siri. But I would probably make that trade if I were Houston.
Per his Savant page, he is well above average in nearly all meaningful categories. A late bloomer (28-year old breakout season) but still has control after this year. Not opposed, despite being a division rival we have trade history with Anaheim (Maybin, Maldonado, Stassi). Though he's played mostly RF he is probably serviceable in CF and can definitely play LF. Useless trivia fact: Ward and Aaron Judge were teammates at Fresno State for one year.
