We already have a "realistic" poll without Smith or Holmgren. Now let's go with the assumption, that all 4 top prospects are available at our pick - Orlando took Sharpe, OKC took Jovic. Which player would you want? Personally here is how I see it: You want the player with the best chance to become the MVP and an all time great - you take Chet. (Who also has the highest chance to be out of the league in a couple of years). You want the player with the best chance to be a 10+ year starter and valuable contributor on good teams - you take Jabari. (who also has the least chance to become a MVP of the top players, because of his lack of ability to create his own shot). You want the player with the best chance to become a star - you take Paolo. (who might be a negative on defense and spacing). You want the player that can make something happen in a difficult situation - you take Ivey. (who might turn into an inefficent chucker with questionable playmaking for others).
The fact that I've talked myself into Paulo being valuable enough to be happy with him hasn't erased my memory of why Jabari was at the top of my wishlist before the lottery. Smith has a chance to be special on offense AND special on defense, and he has the mentality of a player who will add something to his game every year.
Bimathug mentioned it in he podcast the other day. Knowing he's almost a lock to be our guy, people have convinced themselves they want Banchero. Would still prefer the other 2, but I'll admit I've warmed up to him myself. This exact same poll was overwhelming for Chet/Jabari when our pick was unknown.

To be honest, I am someone that switched his vote - I was Jabari and am now Paolo. But really I am still happy with any of the big 3. I just feel Paolo has the best combination of floor and ceiling compared to the other 2.
I have the big 3 all really close. That said, I'd have them in this order of preference: Jabari Paolo Chet Again, I would be happy with any of them.
