I think that applies only to getaway games with a game the next day. The Mariners are off tomorrow. This is either just a schedule maker gone mad or a side agreement between Astros, Mariners and the regional networks.

Jayson Stark at ESPN.com writes that the new MLB/MLBPA collective-bargaining agreement addresses this issue by requiring earlier starts on getaway days, beginning in 2018, for travel where flights are more than 2½ hours: Sources told ESPN that the getaway-day changes will apply if a team has a game -- or even an off day at home -- the next day Not sure how the new one applies.
One thing for certain with JU is that EVERY time the guy pitches it's like he has a hot date after the game......
