Cmoak, but I think he is trolling more than anything.

Calling him Randle is kind of ******** on him to me.:D

Not once have I **** on Paolo, I’ve said stuff to mess with you but you can check in the first couple pages of the draft forum between Chet and Banchero, I’ve always liked them both.

And it doesn’t matter if you think calling him Randle is ******** on him, it’s what multiple scouting sites have said.

Christian Braun is starting to jump out at me. He has Chris Paul type leadership. Given the chance I see this guy as a possible legit 6th man. Hyper competitive and vocal, shooting almost 50% from the field and 38% from 3. I like his intensity. If he were to slip into the second round I would definitely like to see the Rockets buy that pick if possible and grab this guy. He would be a steal.

This is not actually a thing and none of the others are asked to carry as much load play making and scoring.

He is above average as a scorer but for some reason that is never mentioned.

Lack of effort on defense, getting lost/not communicating, getting beat and not recovering, low block rate, these are absolutely all real things.

He absolutely has the tools to be better defender than he is, just like Ivey.

But effort, commitment and attitude are necessary ingedients to playing plus defense.

You dont just wake up and say I'm going to be a dog on defense.

It's a mindset, need to love it AND live it.

    Genuinely asking you.

17/8/3 is that much better than 14/10/2
    Points rebound assists

    Not even factoring in blocks

Considering what they were asked to do and level of competition and pace it's a lot different and nobody can look at those raw numbers and make any definitive statement.

I'm fine with Paolo or Chet, DO NOT want Smith. Smith has been misread and his ceiling is highly limited.

Historically one of the worst if not worst finishers in college history (among lotto picks), historically bad handles for a PF compared to college players. These two warts are beyond crippling and limits his upside in the league. He might end up as a fine player, but he damn as well won't become that first option.

Chet's ceiling is DPOY with some offense. Paolo's ceiling is Chris Weber/Blake Griffin, fringe top 5-10 in the league. I don't even see Jabari becoming more than a top 15-20 player in the league hard capped.

At this point, Green, Sengun, Jaygup, KPJ are all minnows. None of them have shown that they can be the Rockets franchise player. We are still drafting for that star, the face of the franchise kind of player.

Of course, if we pick like 3rd or 4th, I won't be sad if we get Smith. Paolo >= Chet >>> Smith >>> Ivey/Sharpe/Duren.

And Chet put up comparable PPG on much lower USG.

Imagine Sengun putting up similar or better stats than Green at lower usage/minutes.

And the advanced stats on OFFENSE as well as defense OVERWHELMINGLY favors Chet.

It really is not even close.

    Link to comparison below.

Forgot to mention this, Braun is only 20 years old and most importantly, he's 6'6". As was posted earlier, we don't have a 6'6" SG yet. I think that's a plus for him. ;)

Chet put those numbers up in faster pace offense against lower competition, I can't believe you are actually trying to say those numbers should be looked at comparably.

    Come on D.

You know the ACC wasn’t good this year right?
Considering what they were asked to do and their roles, to me Chet is the better offensive player.

Yes, I’ve told you I’ve liked Paolo from the beginning. When I first saw him in high school his shot reminded me of Lebron. But…….he’s not close to the athlete Lebron is which is what makes him special at that size.
I’ve liked both Chet and Paolo from the beginning but I believe Chet has a much higher upside and is DPOY talent.

You know the WCC is not very good comparably any year.

WCC was good this year, probably more top heavy but ACC wasn’t good.

It's faster pace because of players too, not just system.

Banchero prefers half court offense and will slow game down with his style of play while Chet works best running and gunning.

Green is also at his best in uptempo offense.
