    in ~ 2009, TSLA was founded w a US$465 million loan from the United States Department of Energy, a Govt hand-out of sorts.

    but many people would conveniently forget that

    yes, thank you for corroborating that some aspects of socialism have helped the US economy, but i don't need the help.

    just like GM, TSLA had re-paid its loan to the Gov
    • GM had received loan to keep its operation afloat.
    • TSLA had received loan to fund its start up

    I think it's good that Musk is pushing the limits with something like neurolink.

    We shouldn't fear the future. AI isn't the threat to us its made out to be no more than immigrants or black people.

    People just fear and hate the unknown.
