I still feel bad about the loss the part that bums me is yeah my eyes tell me Baylor was better I just wish we could have kept it closer in the first half to make them sweat a little bit.

Baylor just beat the everliving **** out of Gonzaga.

I wouldn't feel bad about anything.

So true!!! We were walking it up like we had the lead.

    Also, we're too ISO-heavy.

Baylor handling the Zags makes the Coogs loss appear less worse.

    At least there's that

It's weirdly true. I felt a little hollow after the loss even though it was obvious we were beat by a better team, but now it really seems ok. Baylor has somehow made it ok.

Cougars lost again the the final 4 to the eventual champions. I think every final 4 team the Cougars have lost to, have eventually won the championship game. UCLA in the 60’s. North Carolina state, North Carolina, and Georgetown; now the Baylor Bears win their title game too.

Heck, by the way things looked, the Cougars may have matched up well against Gonzaga.

Baylor was just too good of a team.

UH finishes #3 in the coaches poll behind only Baylor and Gonzaga. It was a helluva year. Congrats to the team for taking us on a memorable ride to the Final Four for the first time in 37 years.

UCLA twice, iirc. I had forgotten about the North Carolina game in '82

This is something that is huge for UH. It adds another scholarship for UH and there are a huge number of transfers interested.

    Yea, here's one here.

    3. XAVIER JOHNSON, G, PITTSBURGH

Xavier Johnson (Photo: Rich von Biberstein, Getty)
2020-21 stats: 14.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

Bossi’s take: In Xavier Johnson, somebody is going to land a strong, athletic and aggressive point guard who is capable of getting into the lane and really creating opportunities for himself and teammates. If you are a team that wants to put shooters around the perimeter, he’s the ideal guy to get feet in the paint, create pressure and then find guys who are open to knock down shots.

Johnson is down to Baylor, Houston, Indiana and St. Joseph’s. Word is that he is close to a decision and is notable to point out that Indiana assistant Kenya Hunter once signed Johnson at Nebraska.
