I looked at list. It is garbage. Paredes (11) and Taylor (25) can't even crack Top 10. I know the prospect writers generally have a bias against reliever risk, but damn. When I saw the Top 10, I thought they were using the revised methodology for who is still a prospect like MLB Pipeline and FanGraphs. Edit: There is still a lot of risk that Paredes and Taylor aren't effective going forward as they've only seen limited MLB action. Though, I'd have guys that will play in major leaguers ranked ahead of guys that may never make it to the show.

Sea 2 LAA 22 Rangers 24 Oak 29 While BA has errors in their system, the overall picture is likely right. Seattle has some top end talent. The other AL West teams don't have as much top end talent. I like the Astros Farm System more than LAA, Rangers, and Oakland, but it isn't by that much. Usually, I think Astros have better reliever depth/BoR depth than other AL West Teams that isn't being counted as upside, but will likely impact wins more than some upside. Astros still have Tucker, Alvarez, Framber, Javier, and Urquidy for 5 more years. As long as 4 of those 5 stay healthy and productive, Seattle's farm advantage is not likely to provide more club controlled MLB talent than that in any of the next 5 years even with Lewis and Sheffield.
Yep, the Astros should be in contention to win their division thru 2025 at least. I wonder how much difference it would have made in these rankings if they’d had their 1st and 2nd rd picks last year. I do think over the course of both years losing their top 2 picks it will have meant a handful of spots lower.
If I remember correctly, the draft picks lost had a combined ~$15M in value (about 2 wins worth). If I recall correctly, there was about a $100M difference between 15th and 25th on FanGraphs last year. So probably 2-4 spots as differences get greater the better a team is ranked.

Daniels sure is getting a lot of hype for a late 4th round pick who has yet to play a professional game.
He's certainly in interesting one to watch. His physical tools are apparently stupidly good. He showed no actual skill at the sport until last season, but he finally showed something to support those tools.
Interesting that there are 4 members of Houston’s 7/2/19 international signing class and all 4 of their 2020 draftees in their BA Top 30. So 8 of their top 30 have yet to play a pro game.
This, Also, they and other teams also haven't seen him as bobrek suggested which if they had ranked Leon...he wouldn't have been in the Astros Top 10.
With Badler being pretty on top of the international market, BA is usually fairly aggressive in placing international prospects. I wonder how much it was based on how they looked when signed or if they've taken a step forward since.
