Yea that's true. He's done okay, that doesn equate to me he's done crappy. I dont think the Harden trade is that good either. Please learn the difference.
Love his mindset and approach! He's got Morey's lust for the big deal, but I think he tempers it with a different approach to the team and the game.
Nah when people say he hasnt done a great job they mean he has done a terrible job. Thatd how the expression is used. If someone asks you how's your day and you say "My day hasnt been great" it means you had a crappy day. Nobody uses that phrase literally like you wont say your day hasnt been great but you mean you just had a normal day today. You are just pretending to get out of the dumb crap you just said just admit it.
Nope, learn context. I was responding to you about saying Stone>Morey. And you cant express tone over the internet. I was not using in that sense LOL. I have literally said before that he's done an okay job.So that puts this crap to bed. Nope, you just gotta stop lying bro. As I have literally said he's done an okay job, nothing more nothing less. I meant what I said. Again, you are trying to lie to prove a point, quit while you are behind.
It's incredibly hard to have a good gauge on how he did on this trade. We really won't know until Durant/Irving/Harden careers start going downhill. It's a long term investment I suppose where the reward can be really good, can be okay, or can suck. Honestly, if he is able to draft well and he convinces Tilman to build up a top of the line scouting department to maximize the picks they received, then you can't say the trade isn't any good. He could also send those picks off to acquire good talent. Short term, the trade seems to be working out well, granted that Oladipo is not the player Harden is, but the team is playing a lot better. We won't win a championship and we won't go very far in the playoffs, but the results would of been the same with Harden here.
Well, seriously, when you trade one of the best players in the game, you're not really winning the trade, but Oladipo and a s***-load of picks, wherever they land, is fine enough, given how our current set of players gels on the court. 60 year-old Boogie notwithstanding.
I've really warmed up to Stone now that Harden is gone. I hope he keeps his promise and continues to be active THIS season in adding better players. I'm hopeful that as good as this team is, we can still get better via trade.
The Rockets remind me of the 2004 Pistons. I think the Rockets need more Pieces. A Starting Center 6'10 and a Small Forward 6'8, Length, Wingspan, Lateral Defense, Speed, Athletic, Shoot better than average.
Nah DD, I really have said he's done an okay job before, that is the truth. I really dont think he's done "great" but I dont think he's been crap.
Average? Everybody (including you probably) thought we'd be trash without Harden. Stone has got Harden and Westbrook outta here, found a hidden gem in Wood, found solid undrafted rookies in Tate, and may have found the next Steve Kerr in Silas. We're not even halfway through year one yet
