Mckinney is a decent player but do you need him making $50 million when you have Cunningham on a $58 million deal for a below average defense? Tunsil is a good player but is he $4 million a year better than any LT in the history of the sport? DW4 is the only reason to even tune in and probably should be shutdown to prevent a serious injury and to improve draft position. Oh damn I forgot! Yeah, no where did I say anything about those others. Most of this team is trash. Tunsil is overpaid, so is Watson. Martin, Johnson, Johnson, Murray are all massively overpaid but their annual salaries are pennies compared to Watson and Tunsil.
And Fuller, Cooks and Stills are not pedestrian. I know it’s popular here to knock players to prop up Watson but that’s just not true. When healthy, they are above average to good. In Fullers case, when healthy he is a viable number 1 option. Wouldn’t want to pay him that because of his injuries. edit* Cobb is a massive overpay, along with Martin, Johnson, Johnson and Murray. Part of ability is availability and Fuller is NEVER available for an entire season. IN WHAT UNIVERSE is he a number 1? Stills couldn’t even get on the field this year. Cooks has been dealt over and over and isn’t an elite WR. Elite WR aren’t traded multiple times in their 20s
