This is a really sad day for the Rockets. Morey was a great GM in a world where most GMs are terrible.

 

Blah blah blah, Harden trade, 65 win team. Competitive every year he was here. Morey was always the constant in this franchise staying afloat while never being in full control of things. This franchise is in the toilet. Literally every GM in the NBA is guilty of the "bad" decisions you are talking about.

Morey knew he was leaving after Tilman's response to the china tweet. 100% this is because he didn't want to work for someone like that. I'm sure its not the only reason but its the last straw. cost cutting during an MVPs prime? how frustrating must that have been for a GM trying to win?

Agreed. We should add Giannis. But also Luka, to help with playmaking. If we could get someone like AD (or just get AD himself!) to help with interior defense, that would be nice. Lastly, I would also like to have a jet pack.
