I mean they absolutely MUST fill 1 by rule. They will definitely sign 1 buyout guy at a minimum, no other way around it.
What's Joe Johnson up to? Would like to see a complete breakdown of the type of 3s he takes and makes.
Clutchfans Poster - "Why didn't we trade Nene, Knight, Chriss and two lottery protected 1st round picks for AD!?? You should see my roster in NBA2K!" Morey is an awful GM. Sure he assembled a roster that was 1 game away from possibly beating the greatest team in NBA history but he sucks because he couldn't trade Brandon Knight for a superstar. I wish Magic was here. He knows how to run a team. Some of you should stop posting forever.
Rockets will not be signing any free agents or buyouts. If they do they would go back into the lux tax. Only thing we will do is 10 day contracts and converting House’s 2Way deal. The roster is set.
If Capela had stayed healthy, I imagine a bunch of the weaker/fair weather Rocket fans wouldn’t be so hysterical.
Forget about him my friend. He is in China and soon will restore his value in Asian market. Both sides have no interest here for him playing NBA
of course, now the agenda changes. no surprise there "rockets aren't signing anyone else" "theres spots open, of course they are" "rockets play 8 anyway" lol
I mean yeah it sucks but I don't really understand what people were expecting we have no money and we really don't have any tradeable assets. I really like the shumpert pick up I'm not a fan of losing Ennis he was good depth and was getting better. But I understand the tax implications All in all this team was never going to be able to compete with half of the teams in the west or any of the big three from the East.
I loathe this statement. D'Antoni didn't play guys in the playoffs last year because his options sucked.
People blaming Morey are hilarious. He’s taking orders from the owner. Either way, Houston fans attacked Crane and Lunhow after the trade deadline which eventually led to Justin Verlander and a ring. I won’t complain until after the buyouts are over.
Markieff and House are about the best I can hope for right now. They would add even more toughness, swagger, confidence, etc. that is needed around James Harden. We will probably look at some 10 day contract guys over the next week or so though would be my guess.
I'll take it a step further. DM screwed this franchise permanently because he failed to turn the Ryno contract slot into a 3rd star or anything approaching what we needed. That one mistake was the death of our opportunity. It killed us last year and has landed the fatal blow permanently. I now want more details about our viability during the Butler trade from actual sources.
