Chris Paul ( even if 100 percent ) does not have the ability to score at the rim like James . When you compound that with the fact that CP3 is clearly playing banged up and is trying to conserve his explosive plays then our PnR is a much lower threat . Also Capela is banged up . Injuries are the answer , but it doesn't absolve Mike because it has been his stubbornness and reliance on players playing at a high level that causes the current circumstances

Here is a stat to use as DATA, Harden creates the most scores and assists points COMBINED in the NBA by a good margin. That is mind blowing 55 points a night. That is half of a good offensive teams output.Hell,that is almost 50% our all time great offense output.
they are. We have not abandoned those plays. MDA did not throw out his playbook this year. Let's not get silly. But you're right, last two games without Harden, we don't look the same at all. But Paul plays differently....and now when Paul sits, we are really, really different.
Im not convinced that paul can run this offense as well as harden can. I think paul is a more accurate passer and generally makes smarter decisions but hardens dynamic scoring ability, including his elite ability to slash, is what opens up a lot of what we do.
I never understand Morey's philosophy of building the roster. Good teams like Cleveland, Golden State and San Antonio are loading the team up with shot makers like Jeff Green, Nick Young and Rudy Gay. You ain't gonna stop the Warriors by signing PJ Tucker. We need to score with them. It's really sad that a guy Gerald Green who just came in is making more contribution than your biggest FA signing. That's when you know you ****ed the summer. And I haven't even mention his decision to pass up the chance to trade Melo. Morey needs to get the **** out.

Yeah the offense is really vanilla right now. When do we turn it up then? Late in the season? Playoffs? I forgot what games it was but there was two plays that stood out to me. One was Paul got the ball past half court told harden to do something or maybe capela then Gordon came free on top of the key and hit a big 3 it was a beautiful play at a crucial point in the game. The other was Paul brought it up past half court then gave it to harden. Capela came to set a screen for harden then ariza came to set another screen for James and the defense had to pick their poison. Capela ran hard to the rim James drove and dished it back out to ariza who hit a big 3. That was another beautiful play could of been the same game can’t remember. But they where 2 plays that where a thing of beauty. At that moment I said to myself damn we going to be unstoppable lol. Of course it wouldn’t matter if we are shooting like crap. Some of those plays GS ran against us sheesh. And some games I watch GS against other teams and the plays GS run and I can’t do nothing but shake my head in anger.
